Like it or not the day is here
As any happly married couple does we will be spending this Valentines day with a hundred or so of our favorite friends.... and their people.
Yes, it is the annuel basset hound rescue fundraiser where people from all over the state of Florida and a few other surrounding states come together in a huge field somewhere in the middle of no where to raise money and support our favorite breed the Basset.
It is also a place where we meet people who are crazier then we are because they own 5, 6 even 7 of these wondervul bueaties. It is a day of fundraising, game playing, obstical course, food and yes a lot of sleeping in the cool grass. The end of the day is capped off with a parade. The parade is called a waddle and if you have ever watched a pack of 100 bassets walk you would understand the name.
